Understanding The Forge, The Arena, and Every Room Inside
As we prepare to open the doors to our new PuncHIIT Fitness location at Boss Plaza, you’ve likely seen us introduce new unit names and room names across social media.
This guide exists to do one important thing: help you understand exactly where everything is, what each space is for, and how to move through the facility with confidence.
Our new location consists of two side-by-side units, each with a distinct purpose.
The Two Units: Left and Right
🔥 The Forge (LEFT UNIT)
Personal Training, Boxing Ring & Recovery
The Forge is the unit on the left side of the two side-by-side units. It is intentionally designed as a quieter, more focused environment dedicated to:
One-on-one and semi-private personal training
Advanced boxing and kickboxing training
Recovery and therapeutic services
If you are booked for personal training, boxing PT, recovery, or treatment services, this is the unit you’ll enter.
The Forge floor plan is shown in PUNCHIIT-PT TF-03
🥊 The Arena (RIGHT UNIT)
Group Fitness & Boxing Classes
The Arena is the unit on the right side and is where all group fitness classes take place.
If you’re attending:
Group strength
Kettlebells
Bootcamp circuits
TRX classes
Boxing or kickboxing group classes
You’ll be training in The Arena.
The Arena floor plan is shown in PUNCHIIT-TF-07
Inside The Forge (Left Unit)
Back of The Forge: Personal Training Rooms
At the back (top of the drawing) of The Forge are two identical personal training rooms, positioned side by side.
The Armory (Back Left)
Private personal training room
Used for strength, mobility, rehab, and boxing PT
Identical in layout and equipment to The Anvil
The Anvil (Back Right)
Second private personal training room
Same layout, same equipment, same purpose as The Armory
These rooms allow coaches and clients to train without interruption and with full focus.
Middle of The Forge: Recovery & Treatment
Moving forward from the PT rooms toward the entrance:
Recovery Chamber (Front of The Armory – Left Side)
Located directly in front of The Armory, the Recovery Chamber houses:
Cold plunge
Sauna
This space is intentionally positioned away from class traffic to keep recovery calm, quiet, and restorative.
Treatment Room (Front of The Anvil – Right Side)
Located directly in front of The Anvil, the Treatment Room is used for:
Massage and soft-tissue work
Cupping
Recovery-based therapeutic services
Front of The Forge: Change Area & Boxing Ring
At the front of the unit:
On the left side, in front of the Recovery Chamber, is the washroom / shower / change room
On the right side, in front of the Treatment Room, is the Boxing Ring
The Boxing Ring
The ring is used for:
Boxing and kickboxing personal training
Technical sparring
Small group boxing programs
The ring is intentionally located in The Forge to ensure these sessions remain structured, coached, and controlled.
Inside The Arena (Right Unit)
The Arena is designed for energy, movement, and class flow, with two large training rooms separated by centralized amenities.
Left Side of The Arena: The Yard
Strength & Conditioning
The Yard is the left-side training room inside The Arena.
This is where you’ll train for:
Group strength classes
Kettlebells
Bootcamp circuits
TRX and functional strength sessions
It’s a flexible space designed to adapt to different class formats and equipment setups.
Right Side of The Arena: The Pit
Boxing & Kickboxing
The Pit is the right-side training room inside The Arena.
This space is dedicated to:
Boxing and kickboxing classes
Heavy bag work
Footwork and pad drills
Boxing flow and sparring-based group formats
Separating The Pit from The Yard allows boxing classes to run without interfering with strength-based programming.
Center of The Arena: Amenities & Flow
Running up the middle of The Arena, between The Yard and The Pit, are:
Change rooms
Individual showers
Washrooms, including a barrier-free washroom
This central layout allows for smooth traffic flow before and after classes and keeps amenities easily accessible from either training room.
Why This Layout Works
This design allows us to:
Run group classes and personal training simultaneously without conflict
Give each training style a dedicated, purpose-built home
Improve scheduling, flow, and client experience
Treat recovery and treatment as essential—not optional
Most importantly, it makes the space easy to understand once you’re inside it.
Final Thought
As we get closer to opening, signage, staff walk-throughs, and maps will reinforce this layout—but understanding it now will make your first visit seamless.
Two units. Clear purpose. Every room designed to support how you train at PuncHIIT.
